This is a very early nautical chart of Cobija, Chile. Cobija was the first significant Pacific Ocean port of independent Bolivia. In 1825, it was the main port of Bolivia due to the Potosí silver mine. Shows region of Cobija and Bay of Mejillones del Sur. Depths shown by soundings. Oriented with north to the left.
